Born into a family of home decoration products, he is committed to the home furnishings industry, adheres to the practice of corporate social responsibility, and sincerely supports various charitable causes.
Studied abroad in the UK and graduated from the Department of Mathematics at University College London. He has worked at well-known financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC Global Banking, and Bank of East Asia. After returning to China, he has been on the path of entrepreneurship to build his own businesses in Southern China in the last three years.

毕业于英国伦敦大学数学系，现就职于大自然家居（中国）有限公司，担任集团副总裁兼董事长助理。在摩尔根丹利、汇丰环球银行及东亚银行的实践经历，让他在企业营运、成本分析以及企业资源分配等方面积累了不少经验。2018年，他独立创办了极具宋代美学风格的餐饮品牌“京時”，并快速在广东开设了多家分店。他亦是顺德优秀青年企业家、广东省地产商会（青委会）副会长、顺德区青年企业家（青商）协会执行会长等。

Jack first obtained his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, under the Honors Degree Program. While at Berkeley, he was a recipient of the UC Berkeley Alumni Scholarship, Unisys Scholarship, Cray Research Scholarship and Coca Cola Scholarship. He had subsequently worked at Hewlett Packard, and Schlumberger, and a startup in the Silicon Valley.
Jack completed his doctorate study in Electronic Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1994 and became the university’s first PhD graduate. He then continued his post-doctoral research at Stanford University. In 1998, after returning to the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of HKUST, he received his tenure there. His research areas at that time were consumer electronics and wireless circuits. Jack is also passionate in his teaching. He received a Teaching Appreciation Award from the School of Engineering of HKUST in 1995.
Jack completed his Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program in 2010.
Jack is a recipient of the 10 Most Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong (2000), Young Industrialist Award (2005), and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 China award. In 2010, he was bestowed an Honorary Fellowship at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
He is also a holder of 15 United States Patent with the first one filed at the age of 23.
